Urge to kill...rising...
Over the last few days, the Pally community has gotten more and more relentless and posts like these have begun popping up back again, repeating the familiar talking points (Tigole's hatred of Paladins in Everquest) and adding new ones (such lack of posts, which I detailed in my post below).
Is it good or bad when we engrage like this? You think this'll make them go on the offensive or offensive towards us? The only time I really can recall this worked out in our favor from the top of my head was when we got absolutely balistic about the fact that no Paladin (in the US) won the Test of Honor contest; giving us Hammer of Wrath.
I think that...they've simply waited too long. Now when blue will post it'll be looked down upon. And probably it's come to the point now that whatever they do it'll be unsatisfactory in one way or another.

What do we have left at this point? Blizzard refuses to give us any sort of acknowledgement regradless of the tone used.
To be honest, as ridiculous as the "Blizzard Hates Paladins" posts are, much of it is accurate in terms of facts. This class has been neglected so badly in terms of support from Blizzard that it's not very hard to actually believe they harbor ill will towards us.
You also have to admit, we are now the ONLY class without any sort of Blue Interaction with regards to TBC. Check on the 10th page of that thread you've linked and you'll get a link to the Blue response thread on the Shaman forum.
...typical.
You think maybe Blizzard shot themselves in the foot when they gave both classes to both factions?
Wouldn't that theoretically double the current number of paladins and thus double the amount of complaints? Will horde players start vouching for their Light stealing brethren?
A problem arises when people like Adaron from Korgath(Alt hider) or Ultmast from Medivh(LOL@this guy) is trying to shoot down any semiconstructive paladin post why is that? If anyone tries to share their thought then they feel they have to write counters, "because we're all pretty tired of writing our counters to it", and still are writing loads of rubbish. If a community feels theres a problem in talents, spells, balance mostly its 3-4 ppl just reposting to try to fuck it up not trying to have any constructive thoughts instead.
Is there any place where i can get more information on the Test of honor contest?
I heard that there was actually one paladin who did win. In any case it would seem that Paladins are not as conducive to honor gain.

And spool down to the 14th of July. Loke was the only Paladin ToH contest winner, and he won in the EU-zone.
It should be noted that at the time Outdoor PvP was the mainstay of Honour gathering, and thus those classes which could solo-kill at great speed tended to be the most successful. No other class got so few a number of contest winners, by some margin (I think next was druids with 9 across EU and US).
The furor/tigole hating paladins thing is true, as well as the fact that benediction was friends with furor, and was basically trolling for him. As for the whole Caydiem is Ellia thing, nobody ever proved that, Ellia just stopped posting after people kept bringing it up.
I don't doubt that some of the CMs or Devs have alts that they troll the boards on, including the paladin board.
I don't doubt that they use their jobs to change things in game they don't like, for example furor's guild was the only one allowed to transfer from a pve server to a pvp server.
Anyway, as for the question of "is this constructive" it is, since bitching is the only way for this class to get noticed.
I'm not sure why all of the 'furor' (hahaha) is coming out now, the expansion changes look to be better than the 1.9 changes were (especially the SoC nerf).
Overall, the paladins will never be what many of them want to be. The healing is too powerful for that, and the melee is too weak for that.
The real question is why we lack things like a snare or silence when we have such low dps. You would think a low dps class would have combat utility at least.

The funny part is, with the way the trees and seal of command were changed in 1.9, they totally nerfed his playstyle.
They didnt just nerf it, its not even close to viable now.
Transfer? Where did you read that his guild got a transfer from pve to pvp?
There was a big deal about it a while ago. His guild was able to change from pvp to pve. There was a big deal about that same guild (think it was the same one at least) get to content faster because they had someone at bliz in their guild giving them info.
Well blizzard want us just to bend over instead of being able to PvP like every other class does, well too bad if they think many paladins will go to only to heal in PvP they are dead wrong.
I mean ffs, 1 paladin succeeded in test of honor and nerf was included. So imba class, 1 paladin when most were dps classes.
His guild was able to change from pvp to pve.
No it was from pve to pvp, which is why everyone was pissed. Basically they got to gear up on a pve server, then transfer to pvp which no one else is allowed to do.
I don't think it would be a big deal to allow pve->pvp transfers, but I do think it's fishy when your lead developers guild just so happens to be on the only server allowed to do so, and they take up the offer and transfer the whole guild over.
I am Happy with my PVE Role it's fine sure I don't melee or DPS as much as i'd like. But I appreciate I serve my groups most in a support role.
But why why why must I be forced to do the same thing in PVP to be viable.
Both factions have Paladins, upping our PVP viability will no longer be unbalancing. Please FFS let me do something other than Heal/Buff/De-curse without requiring Uber gear
I wonder how many guilds have unpleasant surprise in expancion if and when Blizzard really fails making paladins PvP viable.
I see guilds that go there without their paladins, cause if they do they are crazy.
Without being able to do good PvP and in PvP server means you just die. A lot.
