New Legendary One-hander?
Probably fake, interesting nevertheless. Arthirius posts a link at the offical Pally forums. Remember to take this with a great deal of skepticism (+spell damage, but no +int? That's weird). Tyralyon was one of the people who traveled over beyond the Dark Portal, so this definetly would be a BC item.

Notice it has resilience spelled with 2 Ls further adding to the possibility of it being fake.
In regards to the spell dmg but no int - take a look at the epic Paladin WSG Leggings.
anyone know how the new crit stats will work?
I'm guessing the new crit stats will work somewhat like weapon and defense skill. The wider the critical strike rating gap between you and your target, the higher your chance to crit. Conversely, it seems that Resilience is the stat that helps close the gap - reducing the chance that you'll be crit against.
Instead of being a flat increase, crit is now a rating.
Each class will have its own conversion rate for the stuff. So if your conversion rate is 14 rating per crit, for every 14 crit rating you had on you'd have 1% more chance to crit. Your rate might go up as you level, which is what this is to try and stop. The problem was that the flat crit rating was just too good. Blackhands Breadth, for instance, was 2% on a trinket. There would be some people who would use that trinket well into their 70's if something better didnt come along, its just that good...so they had to change that, so that old gear with crit could phase out for the newer gear without having to continue scaling gear so that eventually everyone would have a 75% chance to crit on everything.
The change to this and a couple other stats (hit%, defense, etc) also allows greater itemization bonuses in that you dont have to straight up give 1% crit on gear anymore, a set could have that ammount spread out over several pieces instead. I see there being quite a few small crit-rating gems flooding the market so you can use those to increase crit as well.
As for the hammer itself...
A) It'll likely have sockets
B) You can always enchant for int
C) Its primarily a tank weapon
D) Since its likely a class legendary quest, it could be there are more than one option for the reward. A two handed version with melee crit, a holy version with lots of int, and this one which is a damn fine tanking weapon.
The natural holy damage on hit is pure "Win" for a tanking paladin. The Spell crit for vengeance or righteousness, the "resillience" rating for defense, +damage/healing, and that proc just makes it even better.
If its real, its a very good weapon. If its not, then they should think about making it real cause thats definitely a nice weapon.
Fake according to this post:

"Resillience" kind of gives it away.
Also at Blizzcon they announced that Turalyon will be in the BC. So I dont know how he'll take it with you using his wep..
also heres reference
It has recently been confirmed that he and his expeditionary force survived the destruction of Draenor, and he and his allies may yet be seen again in the Burning Crusade expansion.

Not sure if you guys have noticed some more news, but Warlocks and Paladins will no longer get a free lvl40 mount. Whether this means we have to pay the full amount for our horsey, or whether we get a nice (non-collection) quest in a ~lvl40 instance remains to be seen.
As for the weapon, it is a fantastic paladin tanking weapon but it remains to be if it is legit. Personally, I'm leaning towards it being fake, if only because it would be too perfect for us in that role ;).
Since the game's launch, Duthorian Rall noted that future Paladins would not have it so easy when obtaining their lvl 40 mounts. Seeing as how there is already a quest in place for our epic mount, I'm assuming that Blizzard is finally getting around to implementing a quest.
Suicidal Zebra where did you read that paladins and warlocks are no longer getting there level 40 mount for free? I read the line in the lastest invterview on the wow.com front page about paladins and warlocks not geting their mounts for free anymore but they where talking about flying mounts not normal mounts.
Thanks for the info about the new crit rating.
So I'm thinking maybe the 15% we see to crit judgements in the retribution tree will either be a lot better, or not as good as we think? Our old gear that might grant us 25% to crit might get the nerfbat via this new stat?
