Gloating Priests...

What did you expect?

Btw, I actually did quit today. Deleted my pally and my other chars, cancelled my account and de-installed the trainwreck that once was WoW.

This will not end well. Believe me, BC will break WoW as we know it, not only from a Pally's perspective.

R.I.P. Paladin, see you again in Warhammer Online, I hope.

I've cancelled my account as well, didnt go as far as to delete my chars though. It's just rediculous what bliz has done for our class, continual minor nerfs, seemingly random fundamental play changes. This latest round of giving priests the ability to remove the defining ability of the class was just too much, and seeing what we get in comparison to other classes in BC was just a joke, ya, theres some nice stuff, but almost all of it will just be useless in pvp. /goodbye to my full judge/hand of rag pally, you will be missed however the game you are in will not be.

Cancelled mine about 3 weeks ago. Tired of no communication between Paladins and Blizzard. I just love how Kalgan is all over every class board working with them to implement changes except for us Paladins.

Bastard class of WoW and ALWAYS will be.

I'm holding out for the expansion, to see how things turn out. Even with the latest round of updates to spells/talents in Alpha, things are looking positive. Consider this - Blizzard has pointed out that fights in general will take longer, and health will scale higher in the final 10 levels of gameplay. Combine this with the fact that our overall itemization should see an increase in stamina and resilience, Paladins could potentially shape up to be even harder to kill.

All this emo business of /wrists and cancelling accounts seems a bit premature. Even if they completely hose Paladins at the last second (a la beta to release), I still have my 60 Hunter that is starting to get some decent gear. Personally, I'll wait and see what Hunters get in the way of new talents and spells. Then again, who knows. I may get as fed up and join the doomcallers.

Vaelin calling people emo, is that like one of the seals of the apocalypse?

Vaelin is simply a naive, overly optimistc guy that hasn't lost faith in Blizz yet, I guess.
I was like him once. A long time ago....

Having a high level priest as well a pally, I can whole-heartedly agree with what he says. That's actually why I'm making a shockadin in the xpac, HS and dps-dealing judgements will preserve some of my dps even without buffs, but Paladins aren't powerful enough to justify two classes that can destroy them. Blizz needs to buff them more or make them resistent to dispel as a base-line ability.

...and paladins have been a bastard class since WARCRAFT III, so get used to it.

Vailin, think about that statement, seriously. Were losing survivability, not being able to fully heal from DS will be disastrous, especially since I extrememly doubt our heals will scale up with life. Our dps isnt going to really change that much either so we end up just living a bit longer before we die. And 20% damage boost for a short period of time every few minutes isnt going to enable us to get kills against skilled players without the standard praying soc goes off a few times in a row. Activated +% damage is NOT the same as controllable dps.
