Irony

A class with two out of three talent trees devoted to hitting things, but generally required to spec in the third that focuses on... not hitting things.

Discuss.

BTW - it's my new forum sig.

P.S. This video was shared in a forum thread I'm stoking. I just may have to check out this already-released PC game to get me stoked for... well, you know.

it might just be my taste, but BC left vanilla with dangling threads and that's why I don't play anymore. I want to know what happened to the worgen and gilneas and kul-tiras. does nobody care about darkshire and westfall? what about the scythe of elune? time's clearly passed, but it seems there's always some new adventure to leave by the wayside for the next content push. it feels like wow's been thinning to a simple numbers game lately and everyone's out of ideas.

Agree, anonymous. I was really looking forward to seeing some of the "main" story lines finished in expansion, such as The Scythe of Elune, and definetly adding Gilneas to the map.

Why not set a full-time person into redesigning the areas in between Azeroth zones? Make Azeroth "flyable". Either mark off the restricted areas, or just add houses with no npcs there, ready to re-do later on.. (like the ogre area northwest of Shattrath atm).

Hm, this perhaps does not have much to do wth Paladins..

I think it should be on topic enough. Well, I hope so..
At any rate, it would be nice to see a lot of the old content polished up too; although I can see why they haven't been busting ass on it. Redoing or correcting old areas and fixing them up isn't nearly so attractive as making new ones, since people replaying the game might note the changes, but most people wouldn't go back to follow up a level 29 questline unless you really jumped it up for the current cap.

Not that it wouldn't easy, especially in some cases- the dark riders from Karazhan were supposed to be the killers of Sven's family, and chasing them back into the tower would be pretty simple, you'd just have to add it in. Maybe a mail to those who've completed the questline from Yorgen himself would be a cool tipoff. "I've discovered this new information since you defeated morbent fel, etc etc.."

I myself, on a minor note, would like to see the Theramore questline with the burnt down inn to be completed; to say nothing of the Missing Diplomat. It starts out epic, and fizzles when you're just knee deep in the real culmination.

And having Azeroth being a flyable zone would rock, unfortunately.. Epic flying mounts would cut out the whole taxi system, and I doubt they'd want for the high end players to ignore that money sink; to say nothing of the new dimension to raiding cap cities some servers would see. Death from above by warriors, pallies and mages, ouch.

The Funny thing about this is. I once did a post on this very subject on the paladin forums and i will tell you that i got a lot of flames.

The logic doesn't make sense to me in many of their arguments. If you don't spec holy your a newb, yet at the same time Retribution is ok. Many believe that Retribution is an ok tree because it is a good build for leveling.

What?

Sweet video. =D

Oh, now I get it.

WoW Paladins don't know how to heal because WoW Dev's don't know how to build a real melee/healer hybrid.

I was checking my WoW manual the other day, and under the paladin section Holy Aura was listed. It's something like that we need, but alter it some. Like you put on Holy Aura, make it affect the whole raid and give back a certain % of the damage you deal in healing. We need stuff that makes us attractive to smash things up in raids, other than just standing in the back and spamming heals and cleanse.

Like Shaman have that +attack power ability that triggers when they crit something in melee, and here I though that -originally- shaman were supposed to be a heal/caster hybrid =\

Is it just me or does that Warrior Priest have bad days in general? Both in this movie and the trailer movie for WAR, this very same Warrior Priest gets owned pretty hard.
