Paladins are unique in that they can serve a dual-role in a party. Capable of wearing heavy armor and dealing huge amounts of damage, Paladins are frequently cast as tanks in a group; however, the healing abilities of the Pally also offer the potential for them to serve as primary healers. Special care is required should a group decide to use a Paladin as their central healer since Paladin's possess limited mana resources; consequently, a Paladin that accepts the role of primary healer should focus less on fighting and more on conserving their mana should any party members become injured or, worst case, dead. Paladins make fantastic additions to any party due to the powerful buffs they provide through auras and blessings. PvP on a one-on-one basis can be difficult for Paladins, however, due to their limited range (although, future patches are rumored to correct this issue). Still, a Paladin should be able to make short work of cowardly adversaries that choose to run from battle through the judicious use of Hammer of Justice and Seal of Justice to stun them as they flee.

Regarding the report Caydiem promised explaining why WoW devs made the paladin changes we see in 0.9,
"Q u o t e: You have time to replay like this on the boards so where is our full report from fridays meeting?
We want the info since you all gave hunters AND druids full reviews with talent calcs BEFORE their changes you could at least put some effort into giving us our info alittle faster thanks."
Caydiem's response to the above player's question:
"That's not under my control. Yes, I have time to respond this way when larger, substantial posts are under review by developers and supervisors and international is being informed. Thank you. :)"
