Saturday morning

Sorry for the lack of updates... Just got Mario Kart DS (I know, it's not "cool" to play Nintendo -- but seriously, this game is just too darn fun).

Are you a big fan enough to try to obtain the rights to play the tavern theme at your wedding? Looks like some people have, here's what the WoW composer Jason Hayes says:
...For example, there is a high school in Illinois that recently competed with a "World of Warcraft" suite of music arranged for marching band (they got a 'superior' rating in their division!) and even a request by a couple that wanted to perform the "human tavern" music (of all things) at their wedding :D
Laugh out loud.

As anonymous reported below in the comments, Tigole said the following about PTR 1.9:
We're still making numerous changes to the Fankriss and Satura fights.

Unfortunately, those changes are 2 PTR builds away from the public at this point. For now, I'd recommend testing the 20 person dungeon. We welcome feedback on the 40, but we've already made so many changes that until we get those changes live, testing time is best spent on the 20 for now.
In other words, at least two more builds on the PTR.

Caydiem's made her meeting with the developers regarding the Paladin changes. Read about it here and here. Hopefully we'll the summary either today (i.e. what's left of Friday for California) or this Monday.

sorry but i take umbrage to this written by caydiem:

"Our hybrid class (Druids) and hybrid-like classes (Shaman, Paladin) naturally have a harder time finding their niche, but understand that it's largely player-defined. Find what works best for you. Odds are we won't be giving huge dissertations on class role, as that only serves to pigeonhole people further."

Because oh yes, druids find it really hard to main heal or tank. Nothing against druids, I've rolled one myself and enjoy them, but they hardly have a hard time filling a roll.

I hope that's a sarcastic /cry for Fangtooth. He was awful, poor communicator, promised to level a Paladin and post about it, etc.

Caydiem seems to have stepped up, we'll see what she's got. I expect her to perform a lot better and get us some real info, or maybe that's just the stockholme syndrome talking.

Benediction has been changed. It now reduces mana cost of all Seals/Judgment by 15% (3% per talent, 5 talents) rather than that of Retribution spells. A nice change overall, considering they raised the costs in the new patch and we're much more mana dependant.

Update: As of 0.9.2 (I think, where they moved Consecration higher in Holy and changed Benediction to reduce seal/judgment cost, judgment now only costs 76 mana for me - very nice) judgments are no longer being refreshed by melee hits. This goes for wisdom, light, and crusader. I'm pretty sure this is a bug, as the seal tooltips still say they're supposed to be refreshed by melee hit.

Guys, no personal attacks. Please keep this at a constructive level.

I'm not sarcastic about Fangtooth though. I have a different picture of him; he was very professional in the sense that he wouldn't budge one bit from people name-calling him and trying to stir up flames. For example Caydiem usually tries to correct/talk down those who do that, Fang didn't. Yes, sometimes he made mistakes but at least he was trying to help in some way or another.

The sad thing is that we won't learn whatever happened to his Paladin now!
