Agreed, Crusader Aura is simply amazing. Just means were the fastest on horseback now, wish it meant something meaningful though.

What spec is everyone using to level? I'm using ret right now, I might end up switching though, since there still seems to be a lack of +melee crit gear that has +int on it too.

Has anyone tried the AOE protection spec for leveling that someone mentioned on the paladin forums?

Blood Furnace is great fun. I need to start loading up on my tanking gear again - I tossed a lot of it.

I'm enjoying BC when it is working. On Alleria, the game is basically unplayable during prime time right time - server goes down every 10 minutes or so and very bad lag. It's find during the day, but it is horrible from about 6 PM to 10 PM. Instances were actually stable, so I decided I'd rather to do that, and the instance server crashed during the last boss in the Blood Furnace!

It's great when the game works....I'm half-way to 62 now, and it's been fun to level again! The quality of the blues/green is amazing. I've wearing 2 new rings and a new trinket already. I've even replaced a judgement piece with a blue from BF which really surprised me.

What I hate most about the Horde paladins? The arrogant pricks that come to the boards and start saying how much better the Blood knights are when they've never touched the class before.

Hit lvl 20 tonight. Righteous Defense and Spiritual Attunement are awesome. Ive main tanked so far RFC and WC. Im really impressed by how paladins can tank! I had a paladin (made it to 50, pre 1.4) and a Warrior 60 and so far my BC paladin tanking is alot easier than with my war!
Its been said before but I think Paladin aggro>Warrior aggro + Paladin can AoE aggro like mad. Just retribution aura helps a lot.

I've main healed for Hellfire Citadel Ramparts and Furnace.

I also main healed for Coilfang reso Slave Pens.

I'm wearing mostly freethinker's bracer/waist - peacekeeper gauntlets -2 pieces of GM PVP (shoulder and leggings) and various other purples pre-MC.

I'm holy spec'd full and only lvl 60

I also OT just fine if there is another healer in the group.

Crusader Aura makes going from one end of the Zangarmarsh to the other a hell of a lot less tedious. How about the new BoSac? 81 damage/hit sounds pretty good.

I'm 40 Holy, 12 prot, and I've both MT'd and MH'd in Hellfire citadel. Only time I've had any trouble was when my buddy on his mage decided to have a dps competition with his brother's lock.

Plus with so many hellfire pennisula mobs being demons, I can grind like a madman (with lots of water).

I've got a 60 pally, but all my friends play Horde so I've rolled Belf.

First of all the racials really compliment the class. Another spell interrupt is fantastic.

To the person (lord vir I think)who asked about aoe prot leveling, I'm sure it will work very well. I leveled a pally to 42 purely with prot and it was pretty good. With consecration and improved redoubt/reckoning it will be fantastic if you choose your mobs carefully. That's how my belf will be leveling.

There are also hundreds of belfadins being created. I wonder how many will make it to 60-70

Been doing Citadel Ramparts and Furnace a lot,

3 paladins, 1 hunter, 1 mage. We have a ret, holy and me tanking and never loose agro and healing is easy for the pally we do like 40 min runs through it now its awsome.

I'm leveling with a Protection/Holy hybrid spec -- working towards 23/31/7. My terminal talents are Divine Favor for efficient healing, Holy Shield for tanking, obviously, and Improved Judgement for the extra DPS. I've specced this way because most of my leveling is taking place in 5-mans, and so far I have solo-main healed Ramparts and Blood Furnace, and MT'd Blood Furnace and Slave Pens. We're healer/tank hybrids, folks, and don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise.

I've also solo-main healed Ramparts and Blood Furnace as well at MT'd both with a 40/11/0 spec.

So far I have spent my time as an off tank to a warrior, however I do hold groups of aggro better than him while he can hold the single mobs no problem.

So far most warriors I have been to the ramparts with an blood furnace have all said "I have enjoyed this run, i've actually been able to slack a little thanks to our OT"

It's nice to have a different roll other than healing and leveling with prot spec is a little slower than ret but when I get hit by lots of mobs it's so much easier to handle.

I've been amazed how easy it is to level from 58-60 in Outland. I had left my pally frozen mid-50s for a year and a half because of the lack of endgame for any offensive build.

Now I'm rocking 20/31 and it's awesome. I love the 6% DR but I actually can't use it on HFC or I pull too much aggro! The damage I deal is excellent for a character w/2 stuns and 2 bubbles and HoJ is a lifesaver for every boss battle. It's amazing playing a DPS character that can both off-tank and off-heal.

I'm 64 close to 65 now.
and I mist admit Seal of veangeace is AWESOME.

Imo it beats SoC by a mile. It can crit for 1800 (non vengance) if there are 5 stacks up on the target and it crits alot.

non crit around 1000 here. where as with SoC I had to wait for a stun to get such judgement crits.

grtz feedback

Im a holy pally (42/0/13) something like that, just hit 64. I still find SoR to be better than SoV especially with my GM 2H mace. I get 320ish SoR dmg per hit (I have about 470 spell dmg).

JoR 600-700 every 8 sec.

Comparing with 5 SoV debuffs:
I'd need about 3 hits. Which is around 1k SoR dmg, add in JoR and i'm at 1600 (non-crit).

SoV only gives me ~1k on 5 debuffs.

SoR is still better, for me.

As for SoC. I didnt bother getting that talent.

bah. Will have to test in my tank gear where I have only about 330 spell dmg.

SoV, not that good for me.

I'm holy specced> 42/0/13
with 470 spell damge

SoR hits 330 every swing of my GM 2H mace.

JoR hits around 650 every 8 sec. 900-1k if it crits.

It'd take roughly 3 swings to get 5 SoV debuffs on a mob.

so with SoR that is 1600 non-crit spell dmg with 3 swings and a judgement.

with SoV I'd only get around 1k spell dmg hitting the mob

might be diff in my tank gear where i have only 330 spell dmg and a 2.2sec sword.. just my experience. I know not everyone has 470 spell dmg!

I can tank awsome too.. tanked slave pens, BF and hellfire ramparts no prob and main healed all 3, but not at the same time.

^^^ thought my post didnt go through so I had to retype it.

.. I didn't take into account the DoT of SoV.. I'll use a dps meter and figure out which is better.. I think SoR will win, esp when I get the new rank at lvl 66.

I LOVE TBC! At 60 I was 40/11 Holy/Prot (and been putting all my points into prot as I level, 63 atm).

I have been OT, MT, and Main Healer in Hellfire, SlavePens and Underbog. My last few runs actually had THREE Pallies (me-tank, Ret pally for DPS, and another holy critadin for main healer) with a rogue and shadow priest. It took us a little time to get rolling, but we cleared slavepens (first time ever in there) with just a couple deaths and I was 62 at the time.

I am used to being Main Healer, but with the ability to be Main Tank is a new (refreshing) thing for me.
