-30% honor from BGs came from a small vocal group of whiny HWLs who feel that they wasted their life to get crazy gear that is now available to everyone with some spare time.
What they have succeded in doing is angering most of the current player base that is now actively engaged in PVP. Additionally they have screwed themselves over in the long run by increasing the grind at 70 by 30%

I am one of those 12 hour spanned players who has started pvping again due to the insanely easy honor gain.
I pvped for 13 hours yesterday and got 7k honor. Before the 30% nerf, it would have been closer to 11 or 12k. (btw my alt still has lvl 40 greens & it doesn't seem to effect his aimed shots :P)
anyways I got my HWL Crossbow and I don't see how the people grinding to 70 "screwed themselves over by 30%"
