European CMs Are Great

Good list of Ret concerns and good acknowledgment of respective concerns.

It's been a long time since I last saw/read a well non-whiny constructive post on Retribution tree.
Thumbs up to it 100/10 !!! (Yeah it's 100, not 10, you didn't see it wrongly).

Some interesting (and v. good) ideas.

Some rather strange ones (Imp. Crusader Aura... a talent to improve a skill not learned till lvl62?).

One or two which would probably be an unworkable mechanic (the change to Sanctified Crusader for instance).

I can't help but think however that all these suggestions will fall on deaf ears, especially coming from the EU forums.

And it doesn't address the most significant point: that in a numbers-limited 25-man raid, 3 Paladins spamming FoL and HL are a better use of personnel than 2 healing Paladins and one meleeing. This is even more the case with the prevailing opinion that the Paladin is the best healer in the game, and won't be solved so long as Holy Priests, Resto Druid and Shaman are seen as being second rate in this area.

Fundamentally, even taking all of the best buffs from Cromfel's list, Ret paladins still would not be in demand for raids, and more of a hindrance than a help in 5-man heroics.

Here's hoping Blizz listens to reason.
