It's not over, yet...

Shieldhearth complains about the Pally community's flack about that our Savior's Blessing (preliminary name) is the only thing we will get, and begs a CM to explain this. So Drysc responds:
Every class will be obtaining new abilities, along with new ranks, and new talents up to level 70. It's inevitable that some people are going to jump to conclusions, theorycraft, and either maintain that a change is positive or negative while working from a minimal amount of information. Until that additional information is made available though, we could only make vague implications that they are incorrect, and that is generally not a very effective way of changing someone's opinion.

We will be providing more information on new class abilities as our release schedule permits, and making their old ideas and arguments obsolete while creating a bunch of new ones.
I'm a bit peeved at that we're getting yet another PVE only ability. What kinda sucks is that, as the limit of spells the classes are going to get is around 5, most likely an additional one will be yet another aura. In my opinion they should just diversify the existing ones and make them more special. Especially the Shadow Aura which is only useful if you don't have a Priest around (not very often, especially in raid settings).

Anyways... Rambling on. My point is, is that, Bloodlust seems like such an absolutely awesome ability. Savior's Blessing not so much. I hope our other 4 upcoming spells are cool, unique and awesome and not just yet another PVE spell.

They always say this...before a change they say "Don't theorcraft, you don't know what we are doing yet!"

When the change is announced on the forums, and people say it sucks they say "Have you ever played with it before? How do you know?"

and once it goes live, it's too late to change anything.

The only way anything positive gets done for a class in wow is either:

1. They have a CM who is an 'evanglist' for that class, basically they love that class and let the devs know what they want. (ie Caydiem and druids).

2. The class bitches so much, or causes so much trouble that they get whatever they ask for. (ie shamans with the windfury nerf, warlocks bitching til they got deathcoil, warriors crashing a server).

Paladins don't have #1, and they don't have enough unity to get #2, so they will never get any help, despite having the worst designed offensive system in WoW (seal/judgement). I think seal/judgement could be more viable, there is just a real lack of combat options there.

The half assed taunt sucks too. Let paladins main tank already, warriors should have a monopoly on the job.

Personally, I don't know why certain warriors complain about having other classes tank. I mean at least half of them rolled the class wanting to dps anyways. I even hear a lot of them complain that they don't even want to tank in some raiding guids ;p

I know of few players who really wanted to play a warrior to tank. Most good tanks I know were players who have formerly played a healer and didn't like getting aggro from bad tanks.
