"Who wants to play Hungry, Hungry Hippos?"

Caydiem's locked the part 2 thread of "Just one question, Cay..." got locked and with her saying:
"I'll mention it to them and see if I can get an explanation" is in no way a promise. I did mention it to them. I do not have an explanation I can give you at this time. When I have more information, I will share it.
I guess we'll just have to be patient.

What I don't understand though how an answer to this question can take over a month to answer. Maybe if she explained why it's taking so long, people wouldn't make up conspiracy theories. Apparently she has already met with them and told them about it, so what's the hold up?

And, really... It's stuff like this that kind of makes the Paladin community upset; told that they could be given an answer, then there's a long delay, then there's backtracking and redefinement of statement through change of semantics, ultimately resulting in increased distrust.

If you can't get the answer, just say so then! Don't leave the door open for an opportunity of an answer!

I have to say though that the underlying confidence from the Pally community towards the community management is very low and this will bolster their already defined opinion.

While I won't go as far as the other anonymous....I do have to say Cay needs to quit blizzard and go into Poly Sci. She finds great delight in disecting her own words but she can't see thier long term effects.

You know, its exactly this kind of customer service that made me quit WoW, and to be honest, MMOGs all together. Sure we are paying customers, but we aren't treated that way. We are treated like toddlers at a day care. Whatever they can say to pacify us and keep us paying another month.
Well, no more for me. Neverwinter Nights. Good support, good community, no bugs and some great multiplayer tools. Oh yeah, it doesn't have a monthly fee and no sass talking cow druids.

Last night, I spent a marathon session wiping the whole of BRD with my mage, 2 warriors, a priest and a rogue. Other than a couple of learning-curve wipes at the Lyceum, we rolled through the whole place with ease (and none of us have more than 1 or 2 pieces of Tier 0 gear).

I remember doing BRD over and over with my pally, having a much harder time, not knowing what my role was, and feeling mildly useless - and I was considered a great healer.

I just don't understand why people continue to fight this fight after all this time, when there are such great classes out there. If Blizzard doesn't like paladins, don't play the class. If you continue to play the class, that sends the message that they can say whatever they want, and gimp the class as much as they want, without consequences. Create some consequences.

I don't miss my paladin. I do feel a sense of loss, having imagined the experience of playing a paladin, and having been short-changed on that experience.

And, pardon my French, but Caydiem is a douche. Posting using a low-level alt is just about as low as it gets, and that alt is so obviously Caydiem in disguise, down to Caydiem backing up the low-level troll and stating that the troll played a constructive role in the paladin forum.

Has it been confirmed she is Ella? And the reason I can't bring myself to quit my paladin is the time I put into it and my guild's needs. I'm one of two paladins we have (and we raid MC and ZG). And I'm lucky in that my guild doesn't give me grief over getting things like a nice two hander (OEB) and DPS gear.

I'd say it is pretty obvious that Ella is much more than just another customer. Ella may not be Caydiem, but Ella is definitely the cover for some Blizzard employee.

For every paladin who has had the fortune of being in your position, there are hundreds locked in limbo, useless to all endgame raiding guilds, and therefore unable to get the kind of equipment that would make them viable.

I freely admit that I am lucky. And I'm greatful for it. It's frankly one of the few things that lets me keep enjoying the character. Hell we had enough healing that I was DPS up until the lava packs, and only stopped on those because I can't keep decent DPS going with constant cleanse spaming that was needed. I have low competion for LB items and the other Paladin we run with is a nice guy and a great healer.

My guild had to run MC without me and when I got there, there were cheers as wisdom was judged. I know fully well that 99% of paladins aren't in my position, and I know of that 1%, most will not be cheered when they sign on. And that just fucking sucks. I rolled a paladin to be a hero. I didn't roll it to stand in the back.

I don't think any of the paladins I know expected that. Part of me is truely and deeply pissed at Blizzard for the treatment the class has gotten. The CM's are useless and frankly it's probley better if they never post in the Paladin forum again.

There are so many things that are wrong with the class. The plus side for me is I get to see some hope. One of the Paladins on my server has an Ashkinadi and full judgement. He runs in BGs with a warrior also with an Ash and the two of them are scary as hell. Zeta throws out heals but at the same time he can do scary DPS. (Reckoning bomb + SoC + Ash + insane +damage/healing.....) One day I will be in that position. But that doesn't mean I'm willing to just roll over and thank blizzard like a dog for the shit they put Paladins through to get to that point.

I know it's a game, but many of us invest alot of time and effort into our characters.
