I find them nauseating on a geopolitical level. Hell of a troll though, what better way to get an American's goat?
World of Warcraft helps establishing a pan-European identity because it brings together people from various European countries and force them to socialize and communicate with one and another.
I.e. I wouldn't be surprised whether WoW actually contributes to people becoming more positive towards the union.
Sorry for bringing this up. Just a theory I have, and've been thinking about for some time.

Just curious what kind of realistic ammount of time and effort it takes to defeat illidian...
attunements, gear, guild cooperation and lastly people having to play tanks and healers lol.
I dont there is 1/10,000 chars that plays a warrior able to devote such effort to defeat illidan. Gratz to whoever tanked that boss.
As for the euro vs american thing... I think its healthy gaming, as It doesnt bother me if someone worked hard towards something and accomplished it first. If anything im just happy to see it is possible to "beat" wow 2.0.
Well thanks to them they are making the place more difficult, so gl to all the guilds progressing at a moderate pace. I don't know, just seems odd to buff an instance based on some abnormally '1337' guild who conquer everything thrown at them.
