I bet he won't even hit 70 and will say that the class is fine.

Every Paladin that says the class is perfectly fine either loves healing or isn't 70.

Odds are he'll peter out just before level 40, and declare that paladins are actually quite well balanced and capable of tanking, and move on.

Optimistically speaking, leveling a paladin now is probably much more fun and interactive than it was pre-1.9 like most of us did.

But I'll bet 100g he gets to 40, get his free mount, dons his first plate armor, then starts to see the class direction takes an offset course. By then he'll go back to his main.

I'm not surprised the post is deleted. The subject was "Are Pallys fun?" A lot of Paladins chimed in and flat out said No (me included, lol). Between the blue attention (drawing more people to the thread) and the negative responses, Blizzard probably pulled the plug in a move of desperate damage control.

I have a 41/20/0 pally that I had put onto a ret footing to level to 70 and that is now back to holy spec. I have a balanced game that includes plenty of instances, raids and BGs, and I can report that being a retnoob, with the right gear, is an absolute blast. It's really too bad they aren't set up to contribute well in raids.
