Actually it's supposed to be a high elf, the few and proud that stayed w/the alliance. As we all know back from past warcraft lore they did practice the holy light and had priests. Didn't know they went as far as to become pallies tho.

I thought the order of the silverhand was exclusively human until in wow when dwarves were allowed in (though at that point its been disbanded so you could say dwarf pallies are just wannabes).

any non human paladin is lame, and inconsistent.
but, oh well, par for the 'paladin' course as we are also pretty lame, and abstractly inconsistent.
